Custom Printed Ice Cream Cone Sleeves
Full-colour printed sleeves cut to the cone you already serve.
Specification & quoteUK cone sleeve supplier
A cone sleeve is the piece of packaging a customer holds for the whole time they are eating. We print them for ice cream shops, gelaterias, dessert bars and street food traders across the United Kingdom — sized from the cone you already buy rather than pulled from a stock list.

Short enquiry
Tell us which cone you serve and roughly how many sleeves you need. We reply with the board, print and finish, plus the minimum quantity and lead time for your job.
Design Your Own
Pick a colour, put your name on it, and see how the idea reads before you ask anyone for a price. It is a sketch rather than a manufacturing proof — the real shape is cut from the product you already serve.

Finish
Leave two or three centimetres of wafer showing. Customers read a visible cone as freshly made, and the sleeve still catches the first drips.
Carry this into the full designerThe full page adds the size, board, print and quantity, then sends the whole specification over in one go. Nothing is committed to at any point.

Specification & quoteEvery sleeve on this page is cut to a flat shape that rolls into a cone angle. Two numbers decide that shape: the diameter across the open top of your cone, and the slant height from the rim down to the point where you want the wrap to stop.
Send us a sample cone or the measurements and we set the die from those. Artwork comes afterwards, laid onto a shape that is already correct. Doing it the other way round is how designs end up cropped at the seam.
Our guide to measuring a cone sleeve correctly walks through both measurements with a tape measure and a spare cone.
The shape of your product narrows the choice faster than any other factor:
If you sell more than one cone size, most sites settle on two dies rather than one compromise size that fits neither.
These are the options quoted most often. Anything outside them is still worth asking about.
| Board | Coated white board, uncoated kraft, or greaseproof-lined board |
|---|---|
| Litho or digital CMYK, plus spot colours where the brand needs an exact match | |
| Printed sides | Outside only, or outside and inside where the inner face is visible |
| Finish | Matt or gloss lamination, or unlaminated for a paper feel |
| Shaping | Die-cut flat and shipped flat; assembled on the counter |
| Sizing | Cut to your cone, from a sample or from measurements |
| Food contact | Food-grade board and inks specified for direct contact — confirmed per order |
Minimum order quantities, lead times and pricing depend on board, print method and run length. We confirm all three in writing on your quote.
Cone sleeves get gripped, twisted and occasionally dropped in a puddle of melted ice cream. Ink sitting on an unprotected surface will scuff along the seam within minutes of handling.
Matt lamination is the usual answer on dark or heavily inked designs, because it hides handling marks and keeps a deep colour looking even. Lighter designs on kraft often read better with no lamination at all.
We compared how matt and gloss lamination behave in service using the same artwork on both, if you want to see the difference before deciding.
Yes, and that is the usual starting point. Post us two or three of the cones you use, or measure the top diameter and the slant height and send those figures with your enquiry. The die is cut to that shape.
They arrive flat and die-cut. Staff roll and tuck each one at the counter, which takes a couple of seconds once they have done a few. Shipping flat keeps the carriage cost down and protects the printed face.
Ask for a printed sample at quote stage. We will confirm what is available for your specification and what it costs, since sample options vary with the print method chosen for your job.
Rarely. Cake cones taper more sharply, so a sleeve cut for a waffle cone sits loose and slides. Sites selling both usually run two dies with the same artwork scaled to each.
The cone you use or its top diameter and slant height, the quantity you have in mind, and any date you are working to.
Yes. Plenty of vendors take plain white or kraft sleeves for hygiene and grip alone. The die still has to be cut to your cone.
Flat and die-cut in cases, on national carriers to any UK address. Flat packing protects the print and keeps carriage down.
Yes, and sites selling waffle and cake cones usually need two dies. Running both in one order shares the setup between them.
Digital for shorter runs and multiple designs, conventional for longer runs. Which suits your job depends on quantity and colour count.
A new size needs a physical cutting die, made once and used for every reorder. Where a charge applies it is stated on the quote.
Six further ranges, each specified around a different problem — grease from a fryer, heat through a cup wall, or a bag that has to hold a full order.

41 productsHow it works
Almost every packaging order that goes wrong goes wrong at the measurement stage. We start there rather than with the artwork.
Start an enquiryPost us two or three of the cones you use, or the top diameter and slant height. A physical sample removes every ambiguity at once.
Board, lining, print method, colours and finish, with the minimum quantity and lead time confirmed in writing on your quote.
We supply a template cut to your cone, so artwork is built on the correct arc rather than adjusted to fit afterwards.
A digital proof on the die line, then production and dispatch on national carriers to any UK address.
What we will not do
Plenty of packaging websites publish a turnaround figure, a minimum order quantity and an environmental claim that apply to nothing in particular. We would rather put those on your quote, against your actual specification.
Sizing questions are usually quicker on the phone, especially with a cone in front of you.
Written for people specifying packaging rather than selling it.
