Food Sleeves
A sandwich sleeve does presentation work in a chiller and legal work at the till. It has to look appetising for six hours and leave somewhere for a date and allergen label.
Those two jobs pull in different directions, and the artwork has to allow for both.

Design Your Own
Pick a colour, put your name on it, and see how the idea reads before you ask anyone for a price. It is a sketch rather than a manufacturing proof — the real shape is cut from the product you already serve.

Finish
A narrow band uses less board than a full wrap and carries the same name. Wrap deeper only where the filling actually runs.
Carry this into the full designerThe full page adds the size, board, print and quantity, then sends the whole specification over in one go. Nothing is committed to at any point.
Pre-packed sandwiches carry labelling requirements, and the label is applied after printing. If artwork covers the whole face, the sticker lands on top of it.
Reserving a clear panel of the right size from the start looks deliberate. Adding one afterwards never quite does.
Ranges that use one sleeve height and change only the printed name look considerably tidier on a shelf.
Sites doing office platters as well as retail usually add trays for platter and catering sandwich orders.
| Cut | Angled to match a diagonal slice, or square for a round |
|---|---|
| Label panel | Clear area sized to your labelling |

| Range | One height across the range for shelf consistency |
Measure the made-up item as it leaves your pass, at its widest point. We reply with a written specification, the minimum order quantity and the lead time for your job.
We send a flat die line so artwork is built on the right shape. Full file requirements are set out in our artwork guidelines.
Lead times depend on the print method, run length and press schedule, so we confirm yours on the quote rather than publishing a single figure.
Orders are dispatched on national carriers to any UK address. Seedelivery information for how dates are given.
On digital print this is straightforward and is how most small ranges are produced. On longer conventional runs each name is a separate setup, so the economics change. Send the number of lines and the quantity of each.
That is a decision for your own food-safety process rather than a packaging one. What we can do is reserve a clear panel of the size you specify so whichever route you take is not obstructed by artwork.
Somewhere flat and clear of the artwork, sized to the label you actually apply. Deciding this after the design is how stickers end up across logos.
On digital printing this is normal and is how most small ranges are produced. Send the number of lines and the quantity of each so the split is priced properly.
Angled if you cut on the diagonal, which most delis do. It holds both halves at the right height and leaves the cut face on show.
For mayonnaise-based and hot fillings, yes. Dry fillings are far less demanding and can use a lighter, cheaper board.
It usually should, and a consistent height makes a chiller shelf look considerably tidier than a mix of sizes.
It can carry a printed panel, or you can reserve a clear area for a sticker. Which suits depends on how often your recipes change.
With the cut face visible and enough unprinted area that the bread and filling are the colour you notice first. Heavy artwork works against that.
They do, though a folded paper wrap is quicker at a busy counter. Sleeves suit pre-made retail; wraps suit service.
Sizing questions are usually quicker on the phone, especially if you have the product in front of you.
