Cookie Policy
What this website actually sets, described from how it is configured rather than from a template.

Live Chat Sets Cookies
This site loads Zendesk Chat so you can talk to us during the working day. Zendesk sets cookies in your browser to keep a conversation attached to you as you move between pages, to remember whether the chat window is open, and to reconnect you to the same conversation if you return.
These are set by Zendesk rather than by us, and they are governed by Zendesk's own privacy terms as well as this policy. They are not used for advertising.
This section needs completing before launchZendesk's current cookie names, their individual purposes and their lifetimes have not been listed here, because they should be taken from Zendesk's own published documentation rather than guessed at. A consent mechanism is also outstanding: the chat widget loads on page load today, and non-essential cookies should be set only after a visitor agrees.
No Analytics or Advertising Cookies
Beyond live chat, conesleeves.co.uk sets no cookies of its own, no analytics cookies, and no advertising or tracking cookies. No analytics tag, tag manager, advertising pixel or session-recording script is loaded on any page.
That is a statement about how the site is configured rather than a promise about the future. It will stop being accurate the moment a tag is switched on, which is why the section below sets out what has to happen if one is.
What the Site Itself Stores
Nothing in your browser. The site's own code uses no local storage, no session storage and no fingerprinting. Fonts and images are served from this domain rather than from a third-party network, so browsing the pages themselves sends no request elsewhere.
Our server records the IP address of enquiry form submissions briefly, in order to apply a rate limit against automated spam. That is a server-side log rather than anything placed on your device.
If Analytics Is Added Later
The site is built so that Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager can be switched on through configuration. If that happens, three things must happen with it:
- This page must be updated to name the cookies actually set, what each one does and how long it lasts.
- A consent mechanism must be added, so non-essential cookies are only set after a visitor agrees.
- The tag must be loaded only after that consent is given, rather than on page load.
Pre-launch noteNo analytics identifier has been configured for this site, and none has been invented. If tracking is enabled before launch, the three steps above are outstanding work rather than optional extras.
Third Parties
The WhatsApp buttons on this site open WhatsApp, which is operated by a third party with its own cookies and privacy terms. Following that link takes you outside this website and outside this policy.
Zendesk, which provides the chat window, is a third party processing what you type in that window on our behalf. Anything you send through chat reaches Zendesk as well as us.
