Wedge trays supporting a slice all the way to the tip.
Specification & quote
Food Sleeves
A hot slice folds under its own weight within seconds of leaving the counter. Everyone has done the two-handed rescue.
A slice sleeve is a wedge that supports the crust and the underside far enough forward that the tip stays up.

Design Your Own
Pick a colour, put your name on it, and see how the idea reads before you ask anyone for a price. It is a sketch rather than a manufacturing proof — the real shape is cut from the product you already serve.

Finish
A narrow band uses less board than a full wrap and carries the same name. Wrap deeper only where the filling actually runs.
Carry this into the full designerThe full page adds the size, board, print and quantity, then sends the whole specification over in one go. Nothing is committed to at any point.
A short wedge that grips only the crust does nothing — the slice pivots on the edge of the board and folds anyway.
The support needs to run at least two thirds of the way to the tip. That is more board than people expect, and it is why proper slice sleeves look oversized flat.
A 20in pizza slice and a 12in slice need entirely different wedges, so tell us which sizes you cut.
| Shape | Wedge, cut to your slice length and crust width |
|---|---|
| Board | Grease-resistant; cheese oil soaks through untreated stock quickly |
| Support depth | Two thirds towards the tip as a minimum |
| The crust end is the visible face when carried | |
| Stacking | Nested flat for storage |
Measure the made-up item as it leaves your pass, at its widest point. We reply with a written specification, the minimum order quantity and the lead time for your job.
We send a flat die line so artwork is built on the right shape. Full file requirements are set out in our artwork guidelines.
Lead times depend on the print method, run length and press schedule, so we confirm yours on the quote rather than publishing a single figure.
Orders are dispatched on national carriers to any UK address. Seedelivery information for how dates are given.
A back-to-back pair is thicker and heavier and needs a deeper wedge, so a single-slice sleeve will not hold it. If that is how you sell, size for the pair from the start.
Barely. It stops the underside cooling against a cold counter and cuts draughts, but a slice eaten ten minutes later will be lukewarm whatever it is carried in.
At least two thirds. Support that stops short lets the slice pivot and fold anyway, which is the failure customers notice immediately.
Only if you size for the largest, which leaves smaller slices loose. Counters cutting one standard diameter get a far better fit.
Yes. Cheese oil soaks through untreated board quickly, and a slice sits in the sleeve for the whole time it is being eaten.
Not a single-slice sleeve. A back-to-back pair is thicker and heavier and needs a deeper wedge sized for it from the start.
Crust width at the outer edge, and the length from crust to tip. Both change with pizza diameter, so measure the size you actually cut.
That is the point of it. The crust end stays in the hand while the supported underside stops the tip dropping.
They are designed for it. For seated service a wedge tray presents better, which is why counters doing both often stock each.
They do, and a slice sleeve is what lets a customer walk with a slice rather than needing a plate.
Sizing questions are usually quicker on the phone, especially if you have the product in front of you.
