Can wax cups hold a hot drink at all?

Not reliably. The coating softens with heat, which affects both the cup and the drink. If hot service is any part of your operation, specify a hot cup rather than risking a mix-up.

Do wax cups taste of anything?

With a cold drink, generally not. With anything warm the coating can become noticeable, which is another reason the hot and cold lines should not be mixed.

Can wax cups hold anything hot?

No. The coating softens with heat, transfers onto the drink and stops working. Hot service needs a different lining entirely.

What are they actually good at?
