Coloured Paper Cups
Green cups are ordered for two quite different reasons: because green is the brand colour, or because green suggests something about the environment.
The second reason deserves care, because a colour is not a claim and customers may read it as one.
Short enquiry
Tell us the quantity and any date you are working to. We reply with the board, print and finish, plus the minimum order quantity and lead time.
Design Your Own
Pick a colour, put your name on it, and see how the idea reads before you ask anyone for a price. It is a sketch rather than a manufacturing proof — the real shape is cut from the product you already serve.

Finish
A printed sleeve brands a plain cup you already buy, which is why a single site usually reaches for one before it reaches for a printed cup.
Carry this into the full designerThe full page adds the size, board, print and quantity, then sends the whole specification over in one go. Nothing is committed to at any point.
A green cup with a leaf motif implies something about disposal that the material may not support. If the cup is conventionally lined, that impression is misleading even without a word of text. Where the colour is a brand choice, that is straightforward; where it is meant to signal recyclability, the specification has to back it up.
Unlike red and pale pink, mid greens sit comfortably within what process inks reproduce, so they hold well across a run without needing a spot colour.
Very deep or very bright greens are the exceptions and benefit from a spot ink in the same way.
If the green is meant to signal recyclability, what actually determines whether a cup is recycled sets out what has to be true first.
Tell us the volume you pour and whether you need matching lids. We reply with a written specification, the minimum order quantity and the lead time for your job.
Cup blanks are a curved fan, so we supply a template to design on. Full file requirements are set out in our artwork guidelines.
Lead times depend on the print method, run length and press schedule, so we confirm yours on the quote rather than publishing a single figure.
Orders are dispatched on national carriers to any UK address. Seedelivery information for how dates are given.
To many customers, yes, whether or not that is intended. If the cup is conventionally lined, it is worth making sure nothing else on the design reinforces that impression.
Mid greens generally reproduce well from process inks. Very deep or very vivid greens benefit from a spot ink, as does any green that has to match an existing brand exactly.
Yes, if nothing else on the design reinforces it. Leaf motifs and earthy typography are what turn a colour into an implied claim.
It shifts noticeably towards the board's warmth. Greens are among the colours most affected by an unbleached base.
Frequently. Health and wellbeing brands are among the main buyers alongside festive ranges, because green reads as fresh and plant-led without a word of copy having to say so.
Mid and dark greens hide coffee marks well. Pale greens behave more like white and show them.
Yes, and running both in one job shares the setup. Send the split between them.
A Pantone reference and our die template. A hex code or a screenshot cannot carry the information a spot ink needs.
Yes, and doing so is what separates a brand colour from an implied environmental claim. The motif carries more meaning than the colour.
They do, paired with red and gold. Festive work concentrates into a few weeks, so order earlier than feels necessary.
Sizing questions are usually quicker on the phone, especially if you have the product in front of you.
