Sharing a Lid Across Sizes

Many cup ranges use one rim across 8oz and 12oz, with the taller cup being the larger volume. That means one lid covers both.

It halves the lid lines you hold and removes the commonest service mistake — the wrong lid grabbed during a rush.

Can you supply lids for cups we bought elsewhere?

Usually, provided the rim measures to a diameter we can match. Send the measurement or a sample cup so we can confirm before quoting rather than after delivery.

Why does a lid that fits one 12oz cup not fit another?

Because the stated volume says nothing about the rim. Two cups holding the same amount can differ by a few millimetres at the rim, which is more than enough for a lid to sit loose.

Are lids printed?

Do we need vented lids?

For drinks carried a long way, they help. Venting releases steam that would otherwise condense inside the lid.

How do we measure a rim?

Across the outside of the rolled edge, at the widest point. That measurement is what a lid is matched against.

Can lids be ordered in a different ratio?

Yes, and often should be. Sites serving some drinks without lids need fewer, so tell us the ratio you actually use.
